De-poting products is a good way to get your money’s worth! A lot of times, you may thing something is done completely unaware that there’s a ton of product still in there. I’m sure in the simplest of ways you already practice de-poting, without even realizing it. For example, when your lotion pump no longer pumps lotion, what do you do? Toss the pump and turn it upside down, of course. There’s so much lotion still in the bottle, it would be a waste to throw it away simply because the pump isn’t pumping the product anymore. Even with toothpaste, we squeeze the life out of that tube, sometimes rolling it from the bottom up to get every bit out. When my Neutragena Deep Clean can’t be squeezed out anymore, I cut open the tube and scoop it out that way. There are so many common sense ways to ensure that no product gets left behind!
My depoting series is going to cover a few items, such as:
• Lip products (lip sticks, lip glosses, etc.)
• Urban Decay Primer Potion
• NYX Jumbo Pencils
• MAC eye shadows
• Repairing broken eye shadows/ turning loose pigments into solid eye shadows
All of the above will help you to save $$ by allowing you to utilize every last bit of your precious beauty products.
Waste not, want not my Glories!
